After waiting weeks for a distribution check, I was asked to wait for another few days because they were experiencing "problems with mail delivery." When I asked for a tracking # they couldn't provide one because this company sent a distribution check by US MAIL WITHOUT ATTACHING ANY SORT OF TRACKING. An offer was made to direct deposit, if they stopped payment on the check, and after waiting another (5) days, a direct deposit would be issued, which would take of course, another 5-7 days. EXTREMELY POOR, POOR, service all the way around.

Hard to get my money out

Twice, it has taken at least six weeks to receive my RMD withdrawal. Customer service will only apologize but cannot explain why they have had to issue my check twice. Realize--they take the money out of your account and then sit on it for a few weeks.

I requested check to be sent to my home, representative said they would over night it. Lying clueless representative, turns out it’s going to take 3 mailing days. I paid the 1 st to be overnight. I

Read my confirmation number 866****T997 spoke to 20 different clueless people. They just keep passing me to another person who has no clue. I have 60 day to declare my income. So put that check on night. My money isnt making money because your company. Please make up the 2000 dollars that am not eating because of your company

They took the premiums and claimed there was no insurance.

Paid premium for life changing event for my husband. Have chech stubs showing it taken out of my check. Later it was offered 10000 in stead of 5000. I optioned for that. Once again I have check stubs showing premium being taken out. Several Years later, they all they need a form of insurability . I filled it out. All of the sudden, they drop All my husband's life. They say he was uninsurablle. And they never took premiums. I have all the documents to prove.Abso

After trying to get in touch with Voya for 20 min!, I finally got a representative. Such a bad look for Voya. Cant handle customers? He was only able to get me to an independent agency. I was pissed at Voya, but he made me laugh. So he gets good review.

Trouble cashing out an inherited account.

I have inherited my mom's account through Voya. I am trying to cash the account out and invest the money somewhere else. I have talked to Voya numerous times and every time I am directed, transferred, etc. to numerous different people. The last time I spoke with them I asked to speak to a supervisor because the issue I am having is not getting taken care of. When the rep came back and said there was not a supervisor available, I told her that I wanted to have the name of one person who could continue to work with me until the issue was solved. She beat around the bush, but basically told me there was no one available to fill that position. The issue I am having is that this particular account has a 3rd party administrator. The administrator that Voya has listed is not the 3rd party administrator, so the company they have listed can not give the sign off. I found the actual 3rd party admin and they sent the signed authorization to Voya. Voya still says that they need the 3rd party admin, but because it says the wrong one in their system they are not accepting the authorization of the actual administrator.

Poorest customer service

For last 3 days I have been trying to speak to customer service to open a self directed brokerage account with no success. I have been on hold for around an hour and have given up. I have retirement plan with Voya as I have no choice in this matter being the City of New York Employee. The day I retire I will move every penny out of their account.

I can't even rate this company

My twins were working for a company that offered VOYA, voya signed them up without getting my consent as their legal guardian, the boys had no idea what they were signing up for because they were autistic. My one son passed away, it took forever for the legal idiots of VOYA to figure out. Now I have to wait for months before I get the inheritance basically I won't get a dime because they will lose the money that was supposed to go to my husband, my son and I asked to close the account that was illegally signed up for through Global Connections to Employmemt. my son will never see his money and they conned him into signing something he never even understood! They said he can't get it til he is 65, however he will pass long before that.

Not sure maybe 6 calls from me to them after submitting my claim . 7-10 days to review it states . Glad I started calling them when I did as while I still dont have my check 4 plus weeks later . Not sure it would even be in ten mail (if it really even is lol) Express mail was promise early this past week. Figured the way they handle stuff I better see if they did what was promised check left a day later than was told it would snail mail still waiting 7 days later . Thanks Voya really appreciate it

VOYA sent out a letter regarding an address change. They did not include a phone number. Googled VOYA phone called , waited 10 minutes to speak to someone then I was disconnected. Terrible customer service.

Voya has exceptionally poor customer service. I have been told many times this year I would get letters explaining why my term life insurance has gone up over 500% in less than 4 years. There have been many increases including an increase of 200% within the last 1.5 months, and they have the gall to charge $3.50 for "Billing".

I had a Life Insurance Policy with Reliastar,which Voya has taken over,attempted to log-in they have the wrong birth date on file,so no log-in ?? this policy is 61 years old,and now they find out wrong birth date really???was told to contact the agent who is working from home now,attempted this got no-where,was also told to send picture of license to Reliastar to straighten this out,did this,its been 3 weeks now got noweher

They are sending "important documents" to the wrong address

I continue to get mail for the previous owners. These are some form of investment or retirement statements. Despite numerous requests to update their records, I still get this mail. The company has not bothered to respond. I've been trying to get this resolved of and on since moving here 5 years ago. I'll never put any of my money in Voya hands! Lousy service even on a simple address update. You would think the previous owner missed these important documents. Apparently not.
